Ryan O’Neal, 75, worked as a boxer before starring in the 1960s soap opera, Peyton Place. His role in Love Story earned him an Oscar nod. Other memorable roles include Barry Lyndon, Paper Moon, What’s Up, Doc? and The Main Event. (His co-star in the last two was another Taurus, Barbra Streisand.) O’Neal had a long-term relationship with actress Farrah Fawcett.
People magazine’s sexiest man alive turns 55 on May 6! Clooney is known for playing Dr. Doug Ross on TV’s ER and Danny Ocean in the Ocean’s Eleven films. Behind the camera, he is an Oscar-nominated director and screenwriter of Good Night, and Good Luck and the Oscar-winning producer of Argo. In 2005, Clooney won an Academy Award for his performance in Syriana. TIME magazine has called the actor “The Last Movie Star.” In September 2014, “Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor” married 36-year-old Amal Alamuddin, a Lebanese-born British human rights attorney who has represented high-profile clients including Wikileaks founder Julian Assange.
Now 74, Bobby Rydell is best known as a 1960s teen idol with such hits as “Kissin’ Time” and “Volare.” He underwent a double organ transplant in 2012, and continues to tour internationally.
The Singer of the list, Billy Joel topped the charts in the 1970s and ‘80s with hits like “Piano Man,” “Uptown Girl” and “We Didn’t Start the Fire.” The 67-year-old singer and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick welcomed baby Della Rose Joel in August 2015.
Born Anthony Iadanza in Brooklyn, New York, 65-year-old Tony Danza’s first TV role was on the popular sitcom Taxi, a run that started in 1978. Danza landed another lucrative sitcom in 1984 on Who’s the Boss? The show lasted for eight seasons and made him a solid TV star.
Born in Brooklyn in 1942, 74-year-old Barbra Streisand is the highest-selling female recording artist of all time, and has won awards and acclaim in every medium that she’s worked in. Her most recent album, Partners, was nominated for a Grammy in 2015.
When your occupation is listed as Queen, there’s not much more needs to be said. Crowned in 1953, the 90-year-old monarch has been reigning for 63 years and counting.
At 82, Shirley MacLaine is one of Hollywood’s legendary leading ladies, known for a vast span of films that include The Apartment, Sweet Charity and Terms of Endearment.
